Tunel Fire Fighting Vehicle for Russia

As part of the new organisation of Iveco Magirus, our plant is driving the platform of special vehicles for the Group.

Tunel vehicles are in the range of vehicles with the high value-added and are the proof of a “chamberian” specific know how. That’s why, by our german colleagues, we had at the end of 2007, an order for 2 Tunels vehicles for Moscow, Russia. Theses 2 vehicles are taken main characteristics of vehicles in action on Frejus or Somport Tunels, with many technical improvements : a new chasis IVECO TRAKKER of 19T, 360 CV, 3 men, 4 directives wheels.

About the equipment, they have our best know how with our CB 90/1 pump, tank of 3500L + 300L for autoprotection, our CaddiSYS system, a front penetrating pusher blade orientable, our special engine air induction system and many others functions like infrared camera, obstacle radars, monitor on the top…

New HOSE REEL

IVECO MAGIRUS Fire Fighting Camiva launches his own hose reel, shape to the standards NF S 61-521/A1 of may 2006, equipping the vehicles of fire departments.It allows the stock, transport and application for 200m of hose dia. 70mm.

The new fire truck "Alufire 3" has been launched.

This new type of fire truck has been presented in a preview showing at the "Congress of Firemen" in Clermont Ferrand.

Half of the french fire brigades was present...

The Alufire 3 has been exposed in presence of Roel Nizet, General Manager of Iveco Magirus, and Gérard Cattaud, General Manager of Camiva.

The new concept has been studied by a Franco-German team from a marketing analysis which brought to light the following lines:

  • lockers volume,
  • safety and visibility,
  • high ergonomics, for a better use of the material,
  • modulation of the bodywork,
  • new light system with neon lighting,
  • modular tank.
